The function [tex] 6^x [/tex] is an exponential with base greater than 1. So, its range is [tex] (0,\infty) [/tex], with 0 being the horizontal asymptote as [tex] x \to -\infty [/tex].

If you multiply the function by [tex] \frac{2}{3} [/tex], the range remains the same.

If you reflect it over the x-axis, you're changing the sign of the function. So, the new range is

[tex] (-\infty,0) [/tex]
