After a bill had been introduced, what happens next in the lawmaking process

Once the bill is introduced it goes to the committee, the committee will then debate on it and they may make a few changes to the bill, after they finish that the committee then votes on whether or not they should keep those changes, if they do agree on the changes it becomes a "clean bill" and it is given a new number, the bill may be "tabled" or rejected if the bill seems unwise or unnecessary, if the bill is no tabled then it will be either be sent to subcommittee for intensive study or it will be sent back to the House floor
