First you need to remove the parenthesis ,and then combine or put together the like terms .Then after doing this you can find the difference:

-3.4x+4.7 - 3+2.9x

Next Simplify : -3.4x+4.7-3-2.9x:

You'll get a final answer of  : --6.3x+1.7
