I'm confused as to how you got 6b=192 from 5b+b=192 please explain where 6 comes from

Answer:

The variables can add up to each other

5b + b = 6b because the 1 is hidden in front of the b. When there is a variable without a number in front of it you assume it is one.

EX: 7h + h + h = 9h
