Michael is training for a 10 mile race. During the first week, he runs 2 miles. Each week he runs one and a half times what he ran the previous week. If he only runs once a week, how many total miles has he run by the 5th week?

10.125 miles because you multiply two by 1.5 which is three and then multiply three by 1.5 which is 4.5 and so on.
