The domain refers to all the values of x (inputs) for the function

The range refers to all the values of y (outputs) for the function

[tex]\begin{gathered} domain=-2\le x\le1;\mleft\lbrace-2,-1,0,1\mright\rbrace \\ range=0\le x\le3;\mleft\lbrace0,1,2,3\mright\rbrace \end{gathered}[/tex]

We have the domain & range thus:

[tex]\begin{gathered} (domain,range)=(-2,0),(-1,3),(0,0),(1,3) \\ domain=-2,-1,0,1 \\ range=0,3,0,3 \end{gathered}[/tex]
