Hey!

The formula to find the area of a circle using 3.14 for [tex] \pi [/tex] would be,
[tex]A=3.14*r^2[/tex]
For this question, the area of a circle would be,
[tex]A=3.14*3^2[/tex]
Let's simplify it.
A ≈ 28.26
Since we are using an approximation, we have to use the approximation sign (
≈)

Thanks!
