we know that

[tex] 4\frac{2}{3} =(4*3+2) /3\\ \\ =\frac{14}{3} [/tex]

[tex] 11\frac{1}{4} =(11*4+1) /4\\ \\ =\frac{45}{4} [/tex]

so

[tex] 4\frac{2}{3} *11\frac{1}{4} [/tex]

is equal to

[tex] (\frac{14}{3} )*(\frac{45}{4} )=\frac{630}{12} \\\\ = 52.5\\ \\ =52\frac{1}{2} [/tex]

therefore

the answer is

[tex] 52\frac{1}{2} [/tex]
