To get this you first have to turn 1 and 8/9 into a mixed fraction. To do this you take the whole umber multiply it by the denominator and then add it to the numerator. So 1 x 9 = 9, 9 + 8 = 17. So now that you have 17/9 divide. So the answer would be 1.8. (it is a repeating decimal meaning the 8's go on forever, round up to stop)

Answer: 1.888888888888888888888888888888888888, 1.89, 1.9
