First write the equation in point-slope form.

point slope : y - y1 = m (x - x1)

y - (-4) = 3/4 (x - 5)

Now simplify:

y + 4 = 3/4 (x - 5)
y + 4 = 3/4x - 3.75
y = 3/4 - 7.75

Hope this helps :)
