a = (v-u)/t

Where; a is the acceleration of the body

v is the final velocity of the body

u is the initial velocity of the body and

t is the time taken

In this case;

u = 15 m/s

a = 2.5 m/s²

t = 3 seconds

2.5 m/s² = ( v- 15 m/s)/3 seconds

2.5 × 3 = v - 15

7.5 = v - 15

v = 7.5 + 15

  = 22.5 m/s
