As our body is made up of 70% water, it is very necessary for us. Metabolism is the sum of chemical reactions that happen in our body, it also gives us energy for vital processes and synthesizing new organic material. So if we don't drink water these processes will slow down and then eventually stop. Which is quite dangerous for our body. So that is why water is very important in metabolism.

Hope it helped!
