Equation of a line through two points is given by y - y1 = ((y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1))(x - x1)
y - 7 = ((10 - 7)/(2 - (-1)))(x - (-1))
y - 7 = (3/(2 + 1))(x + 1)
y - 7 = 3/3 (x + 1)
y - 7 = x + 1
-x + y = 1 + 7
-x + y = 8
