What is the axis of symmetry of the quadratic function y = 2(x + 3)^2 + 5?

that is the x value of the vetex
in form
y=a(x-h)^2+b
vertex is (h,k)
so look for h

y=2(x+3)^2+5
y=2(x-(-3))^2+5

x value is -3
x=-3 is axis of symmetry
