Your equation is a linear equation because it has a constant, and it has variables. And it does not have something like x^2.

However, if your question wants it in slope-intercept format, which is y=mx+b

Then:

3x-4y = 4

We can add 4y to both sides
3x = 4+4y

Subtract 4 from both sides
3x-4 = 4y

Then we divide by 4
[tex] \frac{3}{4} x -1=y[/tex]

So 3x-4y=4 in slope-intercept format would be [tex] y =\frac{3}{4} x -1[/tex]
