Are animal vacuoles and animal vesicles the same?

No they are not the same, but both are sacs in eukaryotic cells
.
Vesicles deal with movement of the cell and is used to transport materials , also they are involved with celluar digestion.

Vacuoles deal with storage of food or nutrients within a cell.
