Ice=[tex]H _{2} O[/tex] in solid form
water = [tex]H _{2} O[/tex] in liquid form
water vapor= [tex]H _{2} O[/tex] in gas form

If heat is absorbed by a liquid then it turns into a gas so B is the correct answer

when energy (heat) is added then solid becomes liquid and liquid becomes gas, in some rare cases a solid directly becomes a gas (sublimation) .
