Word tabs, such as the file and home tabs are organised in groups on the RIBBON.
In the Microsoft word software, the different tabs which are available in the software package are arranged in groups on the ribbon. The ribbon refers to the long, thin strip of menu which appear at the very top of the page when one open a Microsoft word page.
