The Roaring Twenties got its name because of it being a decade of great economic boom for Europe and especially America. As a result of this economic prosperity many trends were born and sustained by the people. Economic prosperity meant that people could more easily afford luxuries such as automobiles. It was a decade of noisy parties, loud dandy dressing and women became more independent adding to all the jazz and vibrancy of the era.
