Patrick Moore presented for over 50 years at the BBC show " The sky at night' and missed only one single episode. He was an iconic Tv astronomer and died at the age of 89 at his Selsey home in West Sussex, England. He was ill of food poisoning when he missed this episode. He is known for his writings and research on astronomy which have been used extensively by United States (US) and the Soviet Union on space programs.
